IMO the edt is probably the easiest to wear for a man, followed by the parfum and edp last. The edp is the prettiest and most obviously floral formulation and is the one leaning most towards typically feminine. Different concentrations of Chanel fragrances are usually only marginally different, so the same goes for both the EDT and the EDP versions. The print ads for Chanel 19 in the 80's were a stylish woman with "Witty, Confident & Devastatingly Feminine". My favorite version is No 19 Poudre followed closely by the vintage parfum. Here's some info about them ranked from hardest to easiest to wear. Contrary to incorrect info given in the thread, the EDT and the parfum are the original releases. You can find vintage EDT and parfum online quite easily. I've expended a lot of words trying to convince men to wear No. 19, but I always advise the EDT. It's crisper, much woodier than the parfum or the EDP. And it smells freaking fabulous on men. The parfum is beautiful, but has a much different character.
